Busy, busy and busy

My worse shift ever. Don't wanna go through it again. Started work and have to monitor this and monitor that. Apparently, a huge superstar is arriving tomorrow and the rooms assigment is commited. So can only sell the rooms to guest who stayed for 1 night and must depart early. On top of that, 1 floor of the hotel will be transformed to a hospitality suite on Wednesday so that floor can only be sold to guest who stayed 2 nites and depart early as well. So stress. What is the management thinking. And we are full house today. Damn shitty.

Staff strength me, chandran, TG and Eve. Mom0 is mid-shift. Halfway through , Eve went back. She reported sick as not feeling well. After 8 pm Momo left for the day. Only left me, chandran and TG. 3 personnel to attend to guest. Please lor, we are 5 star. Where is the staf that you promised us?

An incident happened at work. A lady approached me to go to a suite room. She introduced herself as the sis-in-law. As we were very busy, I gave her the lift-access key so that she can proceed herself. Some time later, the guest in that suite (the hotels' wedding couple complained of an unauthorised entry to her room). Damn cheapo lor. Using your own family to get freebies from the hotel. Hope your marriage dont turn sour.

When my shift ended, we held a mini-birthday party for Mayte whos my duty manager. Pity her being all alone in Singapore whereas her boyfren is overseas on a business trip. Hope u enjoy your day.

Now at the lowest point of my working life. It sucks big time. Overworked, unappreciated, taken for granted.
